Breaks
Sets are built with patience and tension. Late Nite Guest lets grooves settle, work the room, and build naturally rather than rushing to forced drops. Extended, multi-hour sets are where the sound breathes best, adapting in real time to the floor, the system, and the hour of the night.
The crates connect vinyl-era London tech house directly to contemporary UK garage and broken beats. Understanding where this sound came from is what gives modern cuts their weight. While big records have their place, the real craft is crate depth: unearthing the off-kilter roller or vocal cut that catches the floor off guard and keeps people locked to the low end.
In the booth
At home on Pioneer CDJ and DJM club setups and Denon Engine standalone. Arrives with USBs ready, plays to the system and respects the changeover.

Full bio
Late Nite Guest builds dancefloors on deep curation, patient tension and unwavering rhythm. Anchored in the Vancouver Island music festival scene for almost two decades, his sets bridge foundational vinyl-era UK tech house roots with modern driving cuts, breaks and peak-time energy.
Known for reading a room across extended, multi-hour journeys, he has played from the coastal sands of Pachena Bay and Salty Hearts to OtherWorld sound camps including the Jellyfish Lounge, Electric Circus and CLuG, plus Woodstove Festival and the booth at The Waverley Hotel.
Having opened for Neon Steve and Burchill, and shared the stage with Em.Ash, Marc Gerrard, Lady K and Sleepy, Late Nite Guest brings selector-level authenticity and technical floor control from the first track to the last.
